About
"I am Maira, a Materials Science and Engineering graduate with a strong academic, research, and teaching background."
I am Maira, a Materials Science and Engineering graduate with a strong academic, research, and teaching background. I teach General Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, with experience supporting students across different academic levels. My engineering and research background enables me to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, practical, and concept-based manner, rather than relying on rote memorisation. I have worked on academic and research projects related to nanomaterials, energy, and atmospheric water harvesting, allowing me to connect classroom learning with real-world scientific applications. I focus on identifying students’ learning needs, strengthening their conceptual foundations, developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, and providing structured guidance to help them achieve their academic goals.
