I am an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Early Years practitioner with over 14 years of professional experience supporting children across England in day-care centres, nurseries, mainstream schools, and specialist SEN settings. I specialise in providing individualised support for children with autism and additional needs, including communication and language difficulties, hearing loss, and global developmental difficulties. My experience spans early years through to Year 6, enabling me to adapt my approach to children's developmental stages, individual abilities, and educational needs. I offer personalised, one-to-one online learning support designed to nurture each child's communication, learning, confidence, and independence. My areas of expertise include early childhood development, PECS-based communication support, Makaton, phonics, reading, early literacy and numeracy, social communication, attention and engagement, and support with homework and schoolwork. I draw on my Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, alongside additional professional training and practical experience in safeguarding, EYFS, first aid, phonics, PECS, and Makaton, to provide structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. My approach is child-centred, patient, and responsive to each child's strengths, interests, communication preferences, and learning style. I aim to create a positive and supportive online environment where children feel comfortable participating, exploring new skills, and progressing at their own pace. By combining practical experience with personalised learning strategies, I strive to help every child strengthen essential skills, develop greater confidence, and achieve meaningful progress towards their individual learning goals. I provide online one-to-one support exclusively, working closely with children and families to make learning accessible, purposeful, and rewarding.
