About
"As a Chemical Engineering graduate (B."
As a Chemical Engineering graduate (B.Eng) with three years of online teaching experience, I specialize in Mathematics, with additional expertise in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I also have experience teaching according to the South African CAPS curriculum. My teaching approach focuses on building strong mathematical foundations and genuine conceptual understanding. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a method rather than simply memorising formulas or procedures. Once the fundamentals are clear, I guide students toward advanced problem-solving and exam-style questions. I tailor every lesson to the student’s learning pace, academic level, and individual needs. Using interactive online whiteboards, screen sharing, digital worksheets, video conferencing, and online assessment tools, I make virtual lessons engaging, structured, and effective. Through clear explanations, guided practice, targeted drills, exam-focused questions, and regular assessments, I help students strengthen their mathematical skills, build confidence, and achieve consistent academic progress. My goal is to make Mathematics clear, logical, and approachable while developing the independent problem-solving skills students need for long-term success.
